Animals as Natural Therapy presents “Barnyard Breaks!”

Visit the farm for a 1.5 hour inclusive visit with the herd.  You’ll have a chance to groom a horse or cow and have some “fuzz therapy” with bunnies, goats, and chickens.  It’s a chance to have some grounded time with therapy animals.

Cost is $35 per person.

Wild Things is an educational morning at a Bellingham Park, designed for kids 0-6 years old and their adults.  Wild Things takes place Fridays & Saturdays from 9:30am-11:00am.

In June, we like to explore the wonders of the sea! Wear your boots to protect those tender toes and dress warmly. Our marine parks have many surprising secrets just waiting for you to discover!

We’ll bring tiny tide pools and nets, and field guides for the grown-ups. We may see crabs, jellies, sea stars, and possibly some baby herons!

Program is FREE, but there is a suggested donation of $10 per person, $20 per family.

The South Whatcom Fire Authority hosts their annual pancake breakfast on Saturday, June 20th from 8am-12pm.

Come hungry for a hearty breakfast of pancakes, sausage, eggs, coffee, and juice.  Admission is FREE, but a donation of $7 per person is encouraged.

Proceeds benefit the Fire Fighters Assocation, providing funding for community events, quality of life improvements for firefighters, and a benevolent fund to support the community and members in times of need.

The Port of Bellingham hosts its Dockside Market on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month from 10am-2pm.  This is an opportunity for you to shop directly from fishermen for the freshest catch available!

They’ve also added artists, crafters, and other vendors to the market for even more opportunities to experience the finest local food and art.

Check the Bellingham Dockside Market Facebook page, Instagram, or newsletter prior to sale days to see which fishermen will be at the dock and what products will be available.

Head down to Squalicum Harbor and follow the signs to the market where fishermen await with their product! We set up outside at Gate 5 from June through October and inside the Fishermen’s Pavilion (2599 S. Harbor Loop Drive) from November through May.

Pick your seafood, pay the fishermen directly, and head home with your delicious catch.

Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth invites you to their 3rd Annual Summer Bash on Saturday, June 20th from 2pm-5pm at the Bellingham Circus Guild.

This is a laid-back, family-friendly celebration of art, kids, and community.  There will be food and drinks available for purchase.  Plus, they’ll be playing games and there will be special performances by BAAY students and staff.

Admission is by donation.  All proceeds support BAAY’s Scholarship Fund to help ensure every child in the community has access to quality arts education programs.

Dancing Dana Carr, LLC, invites you to a Sunset Silent Disco on Saturday, June 20th from 8:00pm-9:30pm at the Squalicum Boathouse in Bellingham.

Move to the music with your friends in the fresh air and enjoy the ocean view as you watch the sun set.  They’ll broadcast a diverse playlist on a radio transmitter that can be picked up on headphones.  Headphones will be available on a first come, first served basis.

This event is FREE and open to all ages, shapes, sizes, colors, genders, abilities, sexual identities, etc.  Wear comfy clothes and footwear.  FREE Parking is adjacent to the park.
