Bellingham Youth Ultimate is hosting a “Try-it-Out” Day on Saturday, March 28th from 11am-1pm at Battersby Field in Bellingham!

Kids ages 8-12 can learn and try out Ultimate Frisbee!  Ultimate is a non-contact sport that places a strong emphasis on mutual respect and teamwork, making it a welcoming space for all players.  If you’re a new student, you’ll get to take home a free Ultimate disc!

Registration is FREE, although donations will be accepted.

An official eveng of the La Conner Daffodil Festival, you and your critters can dress up and parade down a blooming daffodil row with other dogs, friendly pets, and their people!  Pets that come dressed up in a costume and get in FREE!

La Conner Pets will be there with a pop-up shop, pup cups, and daffodil-themed pet attire!

Those Brazen Wenches Theatre Company presents “The Roommate” by Jen Silverman with several performances between March 12th-21st at The Idiom Theatre in Bellingham.

A synopsis of the show, provided by Those Brazen Wenches Theatre Company:
Sharon is recently divorced and needs a roommate to share her Iowa home. Robyn needs a place to hide and a chance to start over. But as Sharon begins to uncover Robyn’s secrets, they encourage her own deep-seated desire to transform her life completely.

“The Roommate” is a dark comedy about what it takes to re-route your life – and what happens when the wheels come off.

Bellingham St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The 2026 Bellingham St. Patrick’s Day Parade is Sunday, March 15th at 12:00pm in downtown Bellingham!

The parade will start at Bellingham High School and make its way down Cornwall Avenue to the finish at the corner of Cornwall Ave. & Chestnut St.!  The staging area will be open from 11:00am-12:00pm in the BHS Parking Lot.

EVERYONE IS INVITED TO MARCH!!! Just show up and be ready to have fun.  However, registration is required for cars, floats, musical groups (and horses).

The grand marshall of this year’s parade is Bellingham Mayor, Kim Lund!

It’s FREE to participate…if your group is family-friendly and non-political.

If you’ve always wanted to learn how to play…or already know…join in with over 150 Ukulelians!  Local musicians Wendy Bohlke, Brian Hansen, Jody & Jerry Houser, Kathleen Wolff, and other guests will be playing tunes from various genres.

Even if you don’t play, but like to sing or play other instruments, you’re welcome to join in the fun!

Cuddle up with a good book and a furry friend from the Whatcom Humane Society at the South Whatcom Library on Thursday, March 19th!

You can choose a half-hour period between 4:00pm-6:00pm.  Space is limited, so please preregister ahead of time by calling the South Whatcom Library at 360-305-3632.  Participants should be able to read with minimal help.

All dogs have completed basic obedience classes and/or participated in Whatcom Humane Society Education Programs.
