NSEA Pink Salmon Sightings

The Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association invites you to be on the lookout for pink salmon returning to spawn at the Thompson Creek Bridge in Deming on Friday, August 22nd from 10am-2pm.
Pink salmon return every other year and NSEA staff will be on-site to answer questions, share facts, and help you spot salmon every Friday & Saturday from 10am-2pm from August 22-September 13.

WECU Shred Day

WECU is hosting a FREE Shred Day on Saturday, September 6th from 10am-1pm … or until the truck is full.
Open to both WECU members AND the public, you can bring up to two file-sized boxes or grocery bags of sensitive documents that will be shredded.
Please no junk mail, metal clips, we or bulky/bound items.

The Anacortes Music Project presents AMP Fest 2025 on Saturday, September 6th from 12pm-9pm at Seafarer’s Memorial Park in Anacortes!
It’s a day full of music with 20 bands on two stages, great food trucks, and a beer garden. Proceeds benefit the Anacortes Music Project and their mission to create an all-ages music venue and creative space in Anacortes.

23rd Annual BrewFest on the Skagit

The 23rd Annual BrewFest on the Skagit is Saturday, September 6th from 2:00pm-7:00pm in Mount Vernon.
Enjoy an afternoon of cold beer and cider, delicious food, and LIVE, LOCAL music! There’s also games to play, views of the Skagit River, and a portion of your ticket price benefitting the Lincoln Theatre Foundation to help keep live music, theatre, and community events in the theatre throughout the year.
Admission is $37 and includes six sample tickets. Designated Driver tickets are $20 each with no sample tickets. There will be food available to purchase at the event.
