Blaine Community Theatre – “Christmas in Oz”

The Blaine Community Theatre is back for Christmas time in Kansas with their production of “Christmas in Oz.” Showing between December 5th-14th at Blaine High School’s Black Box Theatre!
Dorothy feels sad without her friends from Oz at Christmastime. With help from the clever Mr. Tinker, she builds the Gidgety Gadgety Whiz Bang Wish Machine and in a flash of gears and glitter…finds herself back in Oz. Reunited with her friends, they plan the biggest Christmas party the Emerald City has ever seen…with one problem – they promised Santa would be there.
Follow their adventures as they plan the party and have to deal with the new witch, Nefariosa, who is trying to ruin Christmas for everyone.

3rd Annual FREE Holiday Concert

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church hosts their 3rd Annaul FREE Community Concert, “Celebrate the Season: An Evening of Holiday Music” on Sunday, December 7th at 6:30pm in historic Fairhaven!
This FREE, one-hour concert gives families a chance to enjoy the sounds of the holiday season with performances from local groups like the Bellingham High School Showstoppers, the Vox Pacifica women’s choir, and a dramatic reading of “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.”
Holiday cider and cookies will follow the program in the community room.
GangBall

GangBall is an adaptive game that involves two teams, the object is to pass the “GangBall” to your teammates and take it to your endzone to score points. Open to all abilities, all bodies welcome and sports chairs are provided!
Bellingham Parks & Rec is hosting a GangBall gathering every Monday through December 8 at the Bloedel Donovan Community Building.
Open to people 10 and older. Admission is FREE, but you must sign a liability waiver before playing.

Ferndale Preschool Storytime

Make.Shift FREE FRIDAYS

Every Friday, drop by Make.Shift in Bellingham between 1:00pm-3:00pm and create whatever you’d like with the supplies and tools available. It could be vintage magazines, collage materials, paints, pencils, pens, yarn, and more! Refreshments will be available!
Sensory Indoor Recess

Mount Vernon Parks & Rec are hosting a Sensory Indoor Recess on Fridays from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Hillcrest Park in Mount Vernon.
This is a space designed for children and families that will benefit from a calmer environment. There will be hands-on toys, sensory tools, books, arts and crafts, and more. Kids will be welcome to explore these at their own pace.
The space is full enclosed, making it easier for caregivers of kids who tend to wander.
Open Roller Skate

Grab your roller skates or roller blades and join in the fun at Depot Market Square in downtown Bellingham on Friday, December 12th from 6pm-8pm.
This event is FREE and open to all ages. Bring your own skates, roller blades, helmets, and pads.

Starry Night Sound Bath

While a starry ambiance is projected around you, this full body listening experience will give you a chance to feel the sound waves as they flow throughout the room and guide your mind into a deep state of rest and relaxation.
