Alger Senior Social

Alger Senior Social

11/18/2025 - 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at Alger Community Hall
18735 Parkview Lane

The Alger Senior Social is scheduled for Tuesday, July 15th from 10am-2pm at the Alger Community Hall.

From the Alger Community Hall:
This event started as a way to support our aging community who may not get out as often as they once did.  We are opening our community hall once a month during the same hours our local Food Bank is open across the parking lot for our seniors to get together and get a little social time in.  For some of our seniors, this may be the only time they get out during the month.  We provide a snack and refreshments as well as games and crafts.  The puzzle table is always a big hit.  We have volunteers to help with technology like computers, tablets or phones as well as a retired nurse and firefighters to take their blood pressure and make sure things are on track with their health.  If you are a local senior for Alger or the surrounding areas of Bow, Glenhaven, Lake Samish, etc., come on out and see us the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 10am to 2pm at the Alger Community Hall, we are here for you.
