For ten Thursdays this summer Elizabeth Park in Bellingham will be filled amazing live and local music. These family friendly and FREE concerts are sponsored by The Eldridge Society, in partnership with Bellingham Parks and Recreation. Join your neighbors from 6-8pm every Thursday from June 23rd through August 25th.
Food will be available for purchase, and picnickers are encouraged to recycle and compost. Alcohol is not permitted in the park. Donations will be gratefully accepted at the concerts.

Celebrate Animals as Natural Therapy with a BBQ Bash on July 16th! Partake in some good ‘ole fashioned family fun with live bluegrass music by Prozac Mtn Boys and Moongrass, dancing, interactive games for all ages, up close and personal animal encounters and a tasty salmon barbecue. Admission is $10/youth, $20/adult (under 10 are free). All proceeds support the programs offered through Animals as Natural Therapy. Parking is available at Bank of the Pacific, 4124 Hannegan Road. Free shuttle service will be available to and from the farm. There will be limited parking onsite for families with car seats and visitors with disabilities.

Whatcom Humane Society’s ‘Putts Fore Pets Golf Tournament’ is August 18th from 1-6pm at Bellingham Golf & Country Club. Join WHS for a great day on the links with your friends and colleagues. This four-person scramble format with cart will begin at 12:00 for registration and pre-game activities. Shot gun start at 1:00!

The Ferndale Street Festival is in it’s 11th year and has claimed the title of “Ferndale’s Best Community Event” in 2011, 2012 & 2015. This year’s MUSIC is top of the line with a mix of Whatcom County’s most talented bands. With an entire block dedicated to the family and kids with their own live stage acts, as well as a car show, various food outlets, vendors of all trades and a wine & beer tent, there is almost not enough time to take it all in!
This year’s MUSIC is top of the line with a mix of Whatcom County’s most talented bands. There will be several outdoor seating venues for the over 21 crowd at local restaurants and plenty of sales with the local retail stores. The 2016 Ferndale Street Festival will be Friday, August 26th from 6pm-11:30pm and Saturday, August 27th from 10am-11:30pm.
