Join Mandy as the Whatcom Women In Business host the 33rd annual Professional Woman Of The Year Banquet on October 27th at the Lakeway Inn in Bellingham.  One of six finalists will be chosen as Whatcom County’s Professional Woman Of The Year. The evening opens with a social and a silent auction (5:30). Tickets are $65. Proceeds from the auction fund higher education scholarships for local woman. Every year, Whatcom Women in Business awards 20 or more $1,000 scholarships to women entering higher education including technical or trade school, beauty school, community college or university.

Creepy Cabaret

Get in the autumn spirit with an evening of lively entertainment and delicious food at the 5th annual Bellingham High School Creepy Cabaret. Enjoy a chili (meat/vegetarian options), salad and dessert buffet while talented students entertain with solo and ensemble performances. The event includes a silent auction of themed baskets. Proceeds benefit the BHS choir program, whose Showstoppers won 1st place in the mixed large ensemble division at the state contest in April 2015. $10, all ages, at the door, doors open at 6 pm.


Night of the Running Dead

Q & A session offered. Kira has been rescuing, resocializing, and rehoming birds since 1998.
