Fix-It Fair

Fix-It Fair Bellingham invites you to this month’s Fix-It Fair event on Sunday, August 30th from 12pm-3pm at it’s NEW LOCATION – Kulshan K2 on Kentucky Street in Bellingham!
If you have something that needs to be fixed…BRING IT! The volunteers will help you fix it for FREE!
Some of the items they’ll help you with include:
-Clothes Mending (patches, button fixes, pocket holes, etc.)
-Small Appliance Repair
-Knife Sharpening (please limit to 2 items per person)
-Bike Repair (brake checks and basic service)
-Jewelry Repair
-Small Appliance Repair (anything you can carry that is NOT gas-powered)
-Shoe Polishing
This is a FREE event run by volunteers. All repairs are FREE or by donation.
Downtown Bellingham First Friday

It’s a First Friday in downtown Bellingham on Friday, September 4th from 6pm-10pm!
There’s plenty of LIVE music, art, late-night shopping and more all around downtown Bellingham. Plus, FREE admission at the Whatcom Museum!

The Port of Bellingham hosts its Dockside Market on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month from 10am-2pm. This is an opportunity for you to shop directly from fishermen for the freshest catch available!
They’ve also added artists, crafters, and other vendors to the market for even more opportunities to experience the finest local food and art.

Head down to Squalicum Harbor and follow the signs to the market where fishermen await with their product! We set up outside at Gate 5 from June through October and inside the Fishermen’s Pavilion (2599 S. Harbor Loop Drive) from November through May.
Pick your seafood, pay the fishermen directly, and head home with your delicious catch.

Improv Drop-In Class

The Upfront Theatre hosts an Improv Drop-In Class on Saturday, September 5th from 12pm-1pm.
If you’re curious about improv, show up and give it a try. Participants will experience how the tenets of improv can change your life. Classes are open to all ages and experience levels.
Cost is on a pay-what-you-can basis. Registration is not required but encouraged.
