BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Skip the Ski to Sea traffic — ride the bus to the finish line.

Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA) is ramping up service for Ski to Sea Sunday on May 24 with buses every ten minutes to Fairhaven.

Extra Route 1 service will run between Downtown Bellingham Station and Fairhaven from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., then every 15 minutes into the evening as crowds leave Marine Park. Routes 14 and 105 will also connect riders, and parking in Fairhaven will be limited.

Fares are one dollar, and riders 18 and under are free. WTA says riders can pay cash, use passes, or the Umo app for digital payment and real-time bus tracking.

You can find more information on WTA’s website or by calling (360) 676-7433.
