BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Great news for Bellingham travelers as the holiday rush gets underway.

The city says that Woburn St has fully reopened between Lakeway Dr. and Iowa St. as of Tuesday, Dec. 23. Crews worked to repair a pipe and stabilize the road following heavy rains earlier this month.

Further north, Hannegan Rd will temporarily reopen between Bakerview Rd. and Van Wyck Rd. to ease travel woes from Dec. 24 through Dec. 28. Crews were able to repair a damaged culvert under that section of road, and work on a permanent fix will resume on Dec. 29.
