Whatcom County launches new “Customer Service Portal” for online permits

WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Those who may be curious about construction in their neighborhood now have access to a free online tool.

Whatcom County Planning and Development Services announced that they’ve launched a Customer Service Portal through the county’s website.

Anyone can view details on permits issued by the county for various projects, past and present. Other planning documents, like site maps and inspections, can also be searched by address.

And residents can make payments or use a fee estimator tool through the portal.

Planning and Development adds that more services for other permits and plans will become available within the next year.
