Whatcom County Fire Marshal’s Office announces new online form for burn complaints

WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Whatcom County residents now have a new way to report illegal or unsafe burning.

The Whatcom County Fire Marshal’s Office announced on Wednesday that online burn complaint forms are now available for residents to report non-emergency concerns.

Those issues may include the burning of prohibited materials or frequent nuisance smoke.

Anyone who sees an illegal fire that’s actively burning or appears dangerous should still call 9-1-1 immediately.
