Washington State Patrol searches for missing Indigenous woman in Skagit, King County area

Update: WSP has updated that Day has been located as of 4:47 p.m. 

SKAGIT COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Police are searching for a missing Indigenous woman who may be in Skagit County.

Washington State Patrol issued a Missing Person Alert over the weekend for 45-year-old Nicole Day, who hasn’t contacted her family in about a year.

The Swinomish Police Department believes that she could be in either the Skagit or King County area.

Day stands 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs roughly 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say she’s been known to wear hoop earrings and has a tattoo with the letters “MMK” on her left hand.

Anyone who has information on here whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1.
