BELFAIR, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A Washington man has been arrested by the FBI after allegedly conspiring to attack the White House and government officials.

William Lee Spartacus Falkner was arrested last Friday, June 19 in Belfair.

A court document released by the U.S. Department of Justice claims Falkner was linked to a plot to assassinate members of the U.S. government during the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event that took place on June 14 outside the White House.

Investigators add plans and communications with co-conspirators were discovered on a Telegram account under Falkner’s name.

The communications indicate that Falkner had a plan to attack one side of the event with drones loaded with explosives. Fleeing attendees would then be forced to use an opposite exit, where they could be shot by co-conspirators.

Falkner is being charged by criminal complaint with conspiracy to commit murder.
