BLAINE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A standout Blaine business is planning to serve its last meals later this month.

The Railway Cafe announced Tuesday, Aug. 4 that they’ll be closing their doors for good on Aug. 31.

Located inside an formerly functional rail car on Peace Portal Drive, the Railway Cafe has been offering burritos, paninis and other cafe staples for nearly 8 years.

Their owners said that they’ve decided to retire and will be moving back east to be closer to family.

They’re encouraging customers to stop by one last time for a snack and a sip, adding any gift cards won’t be redeemable after August ends.
