ARLINGTON, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Two Lynden residents were hospitalized following a fatal crash in Arlington.
The Washington State Patrol says a car heading the wrong way on I-5 NB crashed into two cars around 1 p.m. on Monday, April 1.
The force of the accident caused the wrong way car to flip over on its top and sent the other two cars off the freeway.
The wrong-way driver, identified as a 43-year-old Arlington man, died from his injuries at Providence Medical Center.
Three other people were hospitalized, including the two Lynden residents who were initially hit.
WSP is still investigating the cause of the crash.
