BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A mobile wellness unit is adding a second vehicle to its Bellingham fleet.

Beginning on Monday, Nov. 10, the didgʷálič Wellness Center will have another mobile unit offering care to people living with substance abuse issues.

Their second location will be in the parking lot of the First Baptist Church at the corner of Flora and Unity Streets.

didgʷálič’s other mobile unit has been offering services six days a week at the Anne Deacon Center of Hope since late January.

That includes care for mental and physical health, including dental work, as well as social services.

The Swinomish Tribe partnered with Whatcom County and the City of Bellingham earlier this year to have their mobile units help residents in need.
