Road closures for Whatcom, Skagit Counties as flood conditions change

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Be aware of road closures if you’re planning to drive today.

Woburn Street between Lakeway Drive and Iowa Street is closed due to concerns with the roadway following heavy rainfall.

Marine Drive is closed between Lummi Shore Road and Rural Avenue, as well as north of Bayon Road and between Hoff Road and Bayon Road.

Both directions of Highway 9 are closed from Morgan Road south of Sumas up to the Canadian Border.

In Skagit County, Hwy 20 is closed in both directions near Bacon Creek in Marblemount due to structural issues with the road.

Hannegan Road is closed between Smith and Bakerview due to a culvert failure.

However, Hannegan has reopened between Van Dyk Road and the Lynden city limits.

Slater Road has reopened between Ferndale Road and the railroad tracks.
