Rain and wind gusts are back in the forecast this week for Bellingham

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Weather experts are forecasting more wet and windy conditions this week in Bellingham and the surrounding areas.

According to the National Weather Service in Seattle (NWS), rain and wind will hit the San Juan Islands and western Whatcom County on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

Rainy conditions will continue through Sunday, with a storm system entering the region on Thursday.

Southerly wind gusts will begin on Wednesday through Thursday.

The NWS is also forecasting light snow from Tuesday through Sunday in the Cascades above 1500 ft.
