Seattle’s coming off a shootout loss to a shorthanded Commanders team last week that snapped their franchise-best 12 game win streak.

They now face a struggling Chargers team that’s still searching for their first win of the season. It will be a reunion between Mike Macdonald and second-year Chargers coach Harbaugh, who coached together at Michigan in 2021.

Veteran safety Julian Love confirmed he will return this weekend after missing last game with a calf injury. Coverage begins at 11 am Sunday and kickoff is at 1:25 on KPUG.

The game is also being televised on CBS, which announced today that Tony Romo will not return as an NFL game analyst after he was arrested in July for driving while intoxicated.

The Trail Blazers are having a hard time replacing longtime Sonics broadcaster Kevin Calabro in Portland.

The team fired its new play-by-play announcer yesterday, just hours after announcing the hire. It said in a statement that old social media posts by 29-year-old Braiden Bell violated team policies and made mistakes in the hiring process.
