BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The Bellingham waterfront is going electric.

The Port of Bellingham announced on Friday that it plans to install eight electric vehicle charging stations at the Granary parking lot.

The Port is partnering with Rivian Adventure Network and PSE to add the EV chargers. Rivian will also be regrading and upgrading that section of the parking lot to make it more accessible and usable.

The lot’s north entrance will be temporarily closed during construction, while the south entrance and exit remain open.

The charging stations are expected to be ready by February 2026.
