Mount Vernon Police seek public help in locating vehicle involved in hit-and-run

SKAGIT COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Police are looking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle involved in a Skagit County hit-and-run crash.

Mount Vernon Police say that the victim, an 82-year-old man, was found injured on E Division Street early on Thursday, Aug. 7.

The victim’s condition is unknown at this time, but police believe his injuries are consistent with being struck by a vehicle. They believe the accident occurred sometime between 3:40 and 4:10 a.m.

Investigators are looking to speak with potential witnesses or anyone with video or other camera footage of the area to contact them at (360) 336-6271.
