WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – More illnesses are being linked to recalled cheeses from a Ferndale business.

The state Department of Health says that 10 people have now gotten sick from E. coli after consuming recalled products from Twin Sisters Creamery.

Most of those cases are based in Washington state, with KIRO reporting the latest case was found in a Snohomish County resident.

A voluntary recall was issued for several lots of Whatcom Blue, Farmhouse, Mustard Seed and Peppercorn cheeses on Oct. 24.

State health officials are advising people who aren’t sure or can’t find a batch number on a cheese they purchased to throw it out and sanitize any area it may have touched.
