SEATTLE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A man involved in a series of home invasions across western Washington has been sentenced.

24-year-old Christopher Johnson will receive a 25-year prison sentence for racketeering and conspiracy to commit RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.)

Johnson was involved in a string of home invasions that took place in the summer of 2022.

The Department of Justice listed eight burglaries and armed robberies that Johnson committed with co-conspirators. They note he was not formally charged for some of the crimes but the U.S. District judge took the list into account during sentencing.

Included in Johnson’s list of crimes is the armed robbery of a family in Mount Vernon, and the kidnapping of a young boy in connection with the robbery.

Johnson will serve his sentence concurrently with another 25-year sentence he received after pleading guilty to the second degree murder of a young mother in Everett.

My Bellingham Now previously reported on Johnson’s indictment.
