Lane closures on I-5, Guide Meridian this week could impact your commute in Bellingham

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Lane closures on I-5 and the Guide Meridian could impact your commute this week.

WSDOT says the right lane of southbound I-5 will be closed for guardrail repair from Iowa Street to Lakeway Drive from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25.

There will be a few overnight closures as well.

The left lane of northbound and southbound I-5 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly this week through Wednesday morning for construction south of the North Lake Samish overpass.

Farther south, the left lane of northbound and southbound I-5 will close from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly through Wednesday morning near the Alger and Nulle Road exits.

There will also be nightly closures on the Guide Meridian from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday night.

Flaggers will alternate traffic with flaggers on site at Wiser Lake Road for Comcast utilities work.
