SEDRO-WOOLLEY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A Sedro-Woolley manufacturing giant is making big moves out to Big Sky Country.

Janicki Industries recently announced that they’re preparing to build a new facility in Great Falls, Montana later this summer.

The proposed 2-million square foot campus is expected to employ up to 2000 people once the facility is fully operational.

Montana Governor Greg Gianforte met with Janicki leadership ahead of the announcement, calling it a “significant investment” for their state’s strong workforce.

My Bellingham Now previously reported that Janicki, which makes and engineers aerospace and defense products, has prioritized interstate expansion for 2026.

They have facilities in Bellingham, Hamilton and Sedro-Woolley as well as a parts plant in Utah.

Janicki is also working to complete construction later this summer on a new building in Mount Vernon.
