Janicki Industries begins multi-state growth in aerospace, defense and more

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A local engineering and manufacturing company is expanding their operations in the region.

Janicki Industries announced last week they have begun a multi-state growth plan that will tackle several industries: aerospace, defense, space and marine.

That plan includes expanding their Woburn Street facility in Bellingham, purchasing a new site in Mount Vernon, completing construction on their Hamilton campus and expansion of their site in Utah.

Janicki spokesperson Erin Hurley says upon completion of its Bellingham expansion, the company would provide up to 125 new jobs by the end of 2026.

Most of those positions would be in engineering and manufacturing with construction expected to be complete by mid-summer.

There is no current timeline for when Mount Vernon’s facility will be constructed, however up to 75 employees will be needed there once finished.
