BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The dog days are drawing to a close. As we reach the last full month of summer, the temps outside may continue to break records, and we’re predicted to be fully in an El Niño weather pattern through this winter.

Warmer impacts may make this winter seem less harsh than years past. But that doesn’t mean you won’t be wishing your furnace could help keep you warm this winter.

Thinking early about temperature regulation in the home, both the hot and the cold, can help you get the savings plan squared away, and make sure you know when would be the best time to install or upgrade your heating & cooling system.

“If you are skeptical that your heating system will make it through another winter, or if the lingering problems that just won’t seemingly go away need to be addressed, getting a new system installed before the fall & winter roll around will help go a long way in easing peace of mind,” Heating and A/C expert at Feller HVAC Philip Dye said. “It’s important to know that you have a reliable system installed at the highest quality, and that it will not decide to leave you hanging with no heat this coming winter. How quickly someone can install something during the winter months can help ensure the stress doesn’t overshadow what’s important with an HVAC system: quality installation and home comfort.”

There are many options on the market to suit different needs according to Dye.

“Whether you are looking for a new system to help with rising utility costs, or looking for something to help with overall comfort in the home, there are a ton of great options out there that can do just that! The most important thing to most customers is comfort. No one wants to be too hot in their home, or too cold during the winter. We have options that can handle whole home heating and cooling, or if there are spots in the house that need some help or a system of their own, we can do that too!” He added. “Every home is different, every person’s comfort levels are different, and if we can manage comfort levels in the home, the energy cost savings typically go hand in hand with that!”

Heat pumps will offer a cooling option plus come in handy later this year as autumn rolls in. Consider what may be suitable for your home. It’s not too late to get cool this summer, and it’s definitely not too early to make plans and set yourself up for a cozy winter with a brand new heating system!
