BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Blustery weather remains on track to breeze through our region this week.
The National Weather Service in Seattle says the initial wind advisory has been updated to a high wind warning for Wednesday, Dec. 24.
That means winds will likely top out over 40 mph, with gusts over 58 mph could be recorded along the coast.
The high wind warning will take effect from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday for the lowlands of Whatcom and Skagit Counties.
Puget Sound Energy says that this incoming weather pattern will likely lead to outages, downed limbs and other debris. They’re reminding people to never drive over or touch any downed wires.
