BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A former nursing assistant at PeaceHealth is facing disciplinary action after being accused of sharing sexually explicit images of children.

The Washington State Department of Health charged 30-year-old Rachel Openshaw-Tapia with unprofessional conduct in October 2025. She was working as a registered nursing assistant at PeaceHealth St. Joseph’s Medical Center during the time of the allegations.
