EVERSON, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Everson Police are investigating a neighborhood prowler that’s on the loose.
The Everson Police Department (EPD) said in a social media post that the suspect is believed to have been involved in two incidents at the same house on Reeds Lane.
The first occurrence happened on the early morning of July 30, when a resident reported that an unknown man walked into their house through an unlocked door.
The victim says they woke up to find the man standing in the hallway while appearing to watch them sleep, before running away.
That resident reported seeing the same prowler at their house again around 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 15, but the door was locked this time.
EPD are advising residents in the area to lock their doors and windows, make sure security cameras are working and report any suspicious activity.
The suspect is described as a darker-skinned man in his 20s, standing roughly 5’10” tall with a thin build and short, curly hair.
Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity or whereabouts is urged to contact the Everson Police Department at 360-676-6911.
