BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – If there’s any new indoor recreation services you want to see in Bellingham, the city wants to hear from you.

The City of Bellingham is hosting a public meeting next week where it will unveil its master plan for the Civic Athletic Complex.

It will also listen to feedback on what activities the public wants to see in the future community recreation center within the complex.

My Bellingham Now previously reported that the city plans to expand its indoor rec space at the current Arne Hannah Aquatic Center.

Whether it’s more pool space, basketball and volleyball courts, or rooms for community meetings, the city wants to hear how people want the indoor space to be utilized.

The meeting takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. next Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the Bloedel Donovan Community Building.

The city is also opening a virtual public comment period next week.
