Bellingham Police arrest over 100 people on DUI charges in 2025

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Bellingham has seen an alarming rise in impaired driving since the beginning of the year.

According to statistics from the Bellingham Police Department, officers have made 114 DUI arrests in the first three months of 2025.

That’s the most to start a year since 2021 and those numbers have risen in each of the past four years.

Bellingham’s City Center has seen the most DUI arrests this year with 33 as of March 31, followed by the Sehome and York neighborhoods.

It comes as 10 people were booked into the Whatcom County Jail on suspicion of DUI on March 30.
