BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A Bellingham drug dealer has been sentenced following a major downtown drug bust last year.

Court records state 36-year-old Satan Nehtah Wey Jr. will spend just under four years in prison for his role in the drug operation.

Nehtah Wey pleaded guilty on Wednesday, Aug. 12, to three counts of dealing methamphetamine and one count of dealing fentanyl.

My Bellingham Now previously reported that Nehtah Wey was among 12 people who were arrested in January 2025 following a two-month investigation into drug dealing within downtown Bellingham.

Undercover officers completed dozens of facilitated drug purchases and discovered Nehtah Wey had been using an RV as a base to deal drugs. Court documents state that a search of the RV recovered nearly half a pound of fentanyl powder along with several grams of methamphetamine and other drugs that were packaged for sale.

According to booking records, Nehtah Wey was released from the Whatcom County Jail into state Department of Corrections custody on Tuesday, Aug. 18. He will also spend a year in community custody after his prison sentence is up.
