BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – More wet and windy weather will be back in our neighborhoods later this week.

The National Weather Service in Seattle is forecasting another atmospheric river will make its way over Whatcom County starting on Friday, Oct. 31.

Heavy rains are expected for western parts of Whatcom and Skagit Counties Friday night through Saturday morning.

Winds up to 55 mph could blow across the coastline during this time, with additional winds expected through next Monday, Nov. 3.

The precipitation will also bring a slight chance of heavy snow in the North Cascades, and snow levels could drop to 3000 feet by Sunday.

In the nearer future, a weather system moving into British Columbia tomorrow could produce wind gusts up to 30 mph along Whatcom County’s coastline.
