The National Weather Service in Seattle says that a small but mighty atmospheric river is forecast to land in our region on Friday afternoon.

Bellingham could see up to an inch of rain fall between Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1.

Wind speeds could reach up to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph predicted near the Whatcom County coastline.

We could also see some snow fall across the North Cascades, but snow levels aren’t expected to drop until Sunday.
