SEATTLE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Two of Europe’s most popular destinations are about to get a lot closer to Seattle.

Alaska Airlines announced on Thursday, Aug. 20, that it’s introducing nonstop service to Athens and Paris out of SeaTac starting in May 2027.

Service to Athens begins on May 12 and will operate three times a week as the only nonstop flight to Athens out of the West Coast. Trips to Paris will begin on May 25 and operate five times per week through fall 2027.

The two new stops are part of Alaska’s plans for seven intercontinental trips out of Seattle that also include London, Reykjavik, Rome, Seoul and Tokyo.

CEO Ben Minicucci says they expect to add at least five more destinations by 2030.
