BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Whatcom County man who raped and strangled a teen girl was sentenced to 7.5-years in prison.
In a plea deal, Andrew Seeman pled guilty to reduced charges of assault and rape, and four other charges against him were dismissed.
Court documents show in December 2016 Seeman raped the teen daughter in a motel bathroom, while her mother and 3-year-old brother were in the other room.
He also strangled and choked the girl.
Seeman must also spend 3-years in community custody after being released and register as a sex offender.
