SEATTLE – ‘Dubs,’ the Husky mascot for the University of Washington, announced his retirement on Twitter Monday night.
The dog has been UW’s mascot for nearly 10 years.
In his Twitter post, Dubs says, “As I reflect on the great memories, I realize the time is coming for this old dawg to pass the collar onto the next generation.”
The 2018 football season will be his last.
