The Kraken are back in action as they look to end their five-game losing streak.

They kick off a six game homestand tonight against the New Jersey Devils.

The Devils have won four of their last five games.

They feature a high-octane offense, with the fourth-most goals per game in the league and the highest power play percentage of any team at a whopping 36%.

The Kraken will look to start their homestand off right tonight.

Broadcast starts at 7:00 on KPUG.

Michael Penix Jr finished second in the AP’s college football player of the year award race.

He was behind LSU QB Jaden Daniels, who had 35 first-place votes compared to Penix’s 15.

Bo Nix and Marvin Harrison Jr finished third and fourth, respectively.

All four are finalists for the Heisman trophy to be announced on Saturday.

The winner of the AP award has differed from the Heisman winner just twice in the past two decades.

And one Western Washington University athlete is still collecting hardware long after her season ended.

Vikings sophomore midfielder Morgan Manalili was one of 37 players across the country that earned All-American honors from United Soccer Coaches.

Manalili led the team with six goals and led all conference players with four-game winners throughout the season.

She was previously chosen as a unanimous All-Conference first team pick and first-team All-West Region.
