EVERETT, Wash. – Residents near the Port of Everett had a long night Sunday after a tug boat’s horn got stuck in the “on” position for hours.
KOMO reports it was going mostly non-stop from about 11pm to 3:30am.
The Port of Everett CEO apologized in a letter saying the horn malfunctioned.
He added, “Please accept our sincere apologies on the noise, the time it took to figure out how to turn off the horn and the fact that it happened on the hottest day of the year so far. ”
