BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Sehome High School is prioritizing sustainability in their newly-rebuilt facility.

The school’s new building opened in late January after years of construction and Sehome High School is highlighting their new eco-friendly cafeteria.

Instead of single-use products, students are now using real utensils, plates and bowls and milk is dispensed into reusable cups.

The school says a well-balanced, healthy lunch with zero waste is now the standard in their cafeteria and a model for all lunchrooms in the district.
