Sedro-Woolley Police looking for stolen car from Bellingham

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A stolen vehicle from Bellingham is being sought after thieves used it in a high-speed chase in Skagit County.

Sedro-Woolley Police say they received a call about the car swerving all over Cook Road on Tuesday afternoon, May 16th.

Police confirmed that the car was stolen out of Bellingham and followed it as it continued at a high rate of speed.

A pursuit led police to a motel parking lot, where the car was able to turn around and take off.

Officers were then ordered to end their pursuit.

The car, a white Hyundai Elantra with the license plate CDR 5818, is still being sought by police.

Anyone who sees the car is asked to call 911.
