New fire chief on the job in Sedro-Woolley

SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. — Sedro-Woolley has a new fire chief.

Frank Wagner was welcomed with a ceremony Monday as the department’s 100th anniversary was celebrated.

He replaced Dean Klinger, who retired after 40+ years with the department.

Wagner was formerly assistant fire chief for operations and EMS in the Sedro-Woolley fire department.
