MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — A pharmacy in Mount Vernon is making hand sanitizer to distribute to local first responders.
In addition to donating their product, Makers Compounding Pharmacy & Hallmark is selling bottles to the general public.
The pharmacy’s founder and owner Michelle Moser told the Skagit Valley Herald the hand sanitizer is made in a professional lab with an approved formula and everything is measured precisely.
She says it takes about an hour to produce 24 bottles and, as of last week, her staff have produced about 100 two-ounce spray bottles and they plan to make more.
