SEATTLE, Wash. — More rain and possible snow is in store for Whatcom County.
The National Weather Service issued a forecast Monday that says another heavy rain event is possible for western Washington beginning Tuesday and continuing into Friday with one to three inches of rain possible for most of the interior lowlands.
The forecast also calls for some snow.
The NWS says we might see lowland snow late Tuesday morning.
Accumulations will be less than an inch in Bellingham, but Mount Baker is expected to get at least two feet.
