BELLINGHAM, Wash. — After a nearly two-month investigation, Bellingham Police arrested a man Wednesday for child molestation.

Lieutenant Danette Beckley says they began investigating Tyler Dale Jones in April when a 3-year-old girl, who is known to Jones, said her privates were hurting.

Follow-up forensic interviews with the child pointed police to Jones and Beckley says he turned himself in, with an attorney.
