A restaurant that’s been a Lynden tradition for decades is for sale.

Dutch Mothers restaurant on Front Street in downtown Lynden has been in business since the 1980’s.

Current owners Dave and Debbie Black released a statement:

“Yes it’s official! You may have heard on the radio or in the news… we’re looking to pass the baton to a new family who will run Dutch Mothers with the same love we have these past 22 years. We’re not in a rush to sell, we just know that there is a time and a season for everything and we’re looking forward to a season of more time with our kids and grandkids. In the meantime, and always, we’re open for breakfast, lunch, and dessert Monday through Saturday. If you know of someone who would love to run a restaurant and serve the community, send them our way!”

Windermere Real Estate lists the building, built in 1909, for 1.5-million-dollars.
