LYNDEN, Wash. – An iconic Lynden bakery is celebrating its 115th anniversary.

King5 reports the Lynden Dutch Bakery opened for business in 1907 and serves up cookies, pies and the ever popular Dutch donuts called Oliebollens.

The bakery recently went through a remodel, but they still use equipment for the early 1900’s.

Owner Chad Simmons says he’s thankful to have such great employees and the work it takes to create their treats is well worth the effort.

The Lynden Dutch Bakery is located at 421 Front Street in Lynden and you can order their baked goods from their online store.
