BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The former owner of the now defunct local music magazine What’s Up! has announced a two-night music fest to celebrate the 22 years they spent supporting the local community.

Brent Cole created the Bellingham publication in 1998 and published it monthly until the pandemic forced him to retire it in March of 2020.

Cole says on Facebook that the fest will feature both old and new local bands on March 3rd at The Shakedown and March 4th at the Wild Buffalo.

Cole says the line-up will include Black Eyes and Neckties, Bright Weapons, Dog Shredder, Dryland, Lipstitch, No Fi Soul Rebellion, No Guts, Ship to Ship, Smooth Kiwi, Sons of Rainier and Sugar Sugar Sugar , with more to be announced.
